1. Day 1

   Arrival in Cairo

   Arrive in Cairo, where your private representative provides VIP assistance. Transfer to the Sofitel Cairo El Gezerah, a five-star hotel set on its own Nile Island. Evening at leisure.

2. Day 2

   The Great Pyramids & The Grand Egyptian Museum

   Today you’ll stand before the Great Pyramids of Giza, the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. Your Egyptologist will bring to life the stories of Pharaoh Khufu (Cheops), Khafre, and Menkaure. Visit the Great Sphinx, a symbol of royal power dating back 4,500 years. Guests may also enter the Great Pyramid’s King’s Chamber for a rare glimpse inside.

   In the afternoon, tour the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world’s largest archaeological museum, where you’ll see treasures including Tutankhamun’s golden mask and artifacts from across 5,000 years of history.

3. Day 3

   Islamic & Coptic Cairo

   Step into the heart of Egypt’s spiritual and cultural traditions. Begin at the Citadel of Saladin, built in the 12th century, and admire the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, modeled after Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia. Walk through Islamic Cairo, home to bustling bazaars and medieval mosques, many dating back to the Mamluk era.

   Continue to Coptic Cairo, where Christianity thrived in Egypt long before Europe. Visit the Hanging Church, built atop the Roman fortress of Babylon, and the Abu Serga Church, believed to stand on the spot where the Holy Family once rested. Also see the Ben Ezra Synagogue, a site central to Jewish heritage in Cairo.

4. Day 4

   Aswan: High Dam & Philae Temple

   Morning flight to Aswan. Tour the High Dam, one of the great engineering feats of the 20th century, before taking a boat ride to the Temple of Philae. Dedicated to Isis, goddess of love and magic, the temple was relocated stone by stone to Agilkia Island after the building of the dam.

5. Day 5

   Kom Ombo & Edfu

   Sail northward to the dual temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon god. Reliefs inside depict ancient medical tools, offering a fascinating glimpse into Egyptian science.

   Continue to Edfu, home of the Temple of Horus, the best-preserved temple in Egypt, dating to 237 BC. Walk through colossal pylons, decorated with vivid reliefs of Horus’ battles against Set, the god of chaos.

6. Day 6

   Luxor’s East Bank: Karnak & Luxor Temples

   Arrive in Luxor, ancient Thebes, the capital of the New Kingdom. Explore the Temple of Karnak, the largest religious complex in the ancient world, where each Pharaoh added monuments over 1,500 years. Marvel at the Hypostyle Hall, with 134 towering columns covered in hieroglyphs.

   Later, visit the Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated in the evening, once connected to Karnak by a grand processional avenue lined with sphinxes.

7. Day 7

   Luxor West Bank & Drive to Hurghada

   Cross the Nile to the West Bank, the ancient necropolis of Thebes. Visit the Valley of the Kings, burial site of pharaohs including Tutankhamun and Ramses VI, their tombs adorned with vibrant wall paintings. Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt, built by its only female pharaoh. Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two 60-foot statues guarding the Theban plain.
